Aug 30, 2021 - Effects of lensing on variance, skewness, curtosis

We used the full lensing code (deflections, magnifications) to see how variance/skewness/curtosis in ell bins changes due to lensing. We perform a map level cut, otherwise the changes are enormous.

We also show curves with magnification given by 1 + 2 kappa (dashed) and we show results for three flux threshold values (colors).

We clearly see that full magnification boosts skewness/curtosis. There is noticeable threshold dependence; overall skewness seems to be affected at 10-20% level, curtosis at 20-40% level.
